Pictures from the day we had the home inspection done.  The owners of the house were letting one of their employees, who was a single male, live in the house - hence all the stuff.

Adam and I love houses.  We watch the housing market in our area a lot and were shocked to stumble across this house.  We had looked at it over a year ago when it was on the market.  It was still on the market as a short sale.  Nothing had happened in the course of a year.  It just goes to prove how slow those things go.  We decided to call on he house even though the listing said that there would be no more showings and that the offers were under review.

The realtor allowed us to walk through it and put in an offer.  Shocking, but they did.  They had been working on this house for FOREVER and just wanted to see it gone.  They pushed our offer hard and somehow we were able to get the house!  So here is a bit about the work we did on this house.
